This is a rare luxury home located in front of the Hotel Rosewood by Parque Juarez, just half a block from Parque Juarez and steps to the center of San Miguel de Allende. Perfect for families and large groups (weddings, reunions, retreats) and sleeps up to 15. This is the most luxurious villa in Centro and 3/4 the price of comparable homes that are not as luxurious and not as well-located. The home was built in 1997-2000 but had a beautiful old-world look and feel. Designed by world-renowned architect Alan Wilkerson, with furnishings designed by Marsha Brown, it has been featured in many design books and magazines that showcase classic Mexican Colonial architecture. When entering the home, you encounter a beautiful fountain and courtyard and an outdoor sala. The first floor features a staff kitchen, dining room, indoor living room, TV room, master suite, and an outdoor living area with a gorgeous pool. One of the three master suites is on the first floor next to the pool.

The home comes with full-time staff: a cook, housekeeper, and gardener (Monday-Saturday 9 am-3 pm). Ask the house manager to make her famous margarita’s, and the guacamole is to die for. Meals can be prepared at home, or you may venture out just steps to the Centro for some of San Miguel’s finest dining. No need for a car or even a taxi as everything is within easy walking distance. We are COVID-compliant. The outside is on the inside, so this home is absolutely perfect to remain COVID-safe. Also, it is the ONLY free-standing building in Centro, another safety feature. People can’t crawl over rooftops to get to the house. It is built like a fortress.
