Its position is about 1/2 miles SE of the Village, 2 blocks from the head of Mission Trails, and 1 mile east of the beautiful Pacific Ocean, which you can walk to through trails and side streets. It is a heavily wooded area with streets that twist and turn around trees and irregular properties. In Carmel by the Sea, it is illegal to cut down any pine or oak trees. The cottage was built in the 1940s and has recently undergone renovation to plumbing, bathrooms, lighting, and additional architectural features have been added that allow more light into the interior. There are gas powered bar-b-que facilities and a fire ring, with outdoor eating and lounging furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and cooking staples are available for use. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The master BR has an attached bathroom, the guest bedroom bath is located down a short hallway, and there is enough room for an additional small sleeping child (pac-n-play or blow up single mattress or just a sleeping bag). The couch can be used for another small child. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and surround sound is in the LR for DVDs, CDs and radio. There is basic cable.
