This charming one bedroom cabin on a hill is called 'The Treehouse' because, as you can see in the photos, one is surrounded by tree tops with all amenities, wireless internet, phone, TV, Cable, washer/dryer, parking space, private patio and deck. The bed is a double (not queen)and the small kitchen is equipped with enough cooking appliances and utensils to cook a Thanksgiving Dinner. Please note that there are 50 steps to access this cozy cabin in Beachwood Canyon which leads to the Hollywood sign. It is a little piece of heaven in an urban area and a few minutes from Hollywood and the Freeways. We have our own little village two blocks away with a great cafe, The Beachwood Cafe, as well as a market, a cleaners, and a unique gift shop. We are very close to public transportation. A local 'dash' bus runs every half hour taking you to Hollywood Blvd and the Subway. Universal is two subway stops away and The Hollywood/Highland where the Academy Awards are held is one subway stop away. In the other direction, you can be downtown in 15 minutes! This is a quiet neighborhood of actors, directors, writers and studio musicians and they often have early work hours. All curfew hours are maintained regarding noise. Read less
