Salty Kiss Cottage II is a grande charming cottage, a truly one-of-a-kind architect's dream home with soaring open roof pitches, windows and skylights throughout, and virgin pine tongue-in-groove wood walls, floors and ceilings which seem to magically glow in the evening light! Over 2400 sq ft offers plenty of space to spread out with great open floor plan living. Our entrance ramp provides optimal access for anyone not able to do steps and handles motorized or assisted wheelchairs. Surrounded by only single family homes in a quiet, park-like partially wooded setting, we are just one short block to the beautiful life-guarded Ocean beach. There are 4 private Bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a California King bed and a wonderful handicap railed master bathroom. The second bedroom comes with with a new queen set. The third bedroom has a deluxe queen size bed and the 4th large bedroom has 2 singles beds. All mattresses are pillow- top or hotel quality for GREAT sleeping! There is also a queen sofa bed. The second full bathroom comes with jack & jill door entrances. Our guests all rave about the PRIVATE OUTDOOR SHOWER, open to the sky with great pressure and plentiful hot/cold water! The double great rooms surround the kitchen area and offer ample separate living areas for fun and relaxation. The kids can watch movies on the flat screen TV in one great room while the adults are in the other great room for cards, cocktails, TV, or conversation. During the off season the gas fireplace in the back great room is a cozy gathering place while watching the game. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a late night snack, coffee & morning toast, or a scrumptious gourmet evening meal. The restaurants of Dewey and Rehoboth Beach are within walking distance. The Rehoboth Beach area is famous for the morning boardwalk bike riding for families,(please always wear helmets) and there are spectacular new trails along the Ocean Dunes and deep shady forests. We have arranged for great bike rentals at very special pricing available for our guests at Atlantic Cycles. All of our guests take advantage of the extra large screened porch with the ocean breezes for great conversations, reading a favorite book, or catching wonderful naps while listening to the ocean. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water is a hit among all for rinsing off beach sand or taking a moonlight shower while looking up at the stars. Off street parking provides room for three cars. Pets are acceptable for additional fee. Salty Kiss II is located in Rehoboth By the Sea, a special area on the north end of Dewey bordered by Silver Lake and the ocean. It is the quiet end of Dewey, close enough to walk to the nightlife of Dewey, close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants of Rehoboth or take the Jolly Trolley which runs 10 am-midnight (400 ft to bus stop) Special nights include a short one block walk to the beach for sunrises, bonfires and moonrises.
