The original homestead of the region built in 1828, Camyr Allyn Homestead features period wrap around balcony, high ceilings, stables and country homestead charm. It is a working premium beef cattle farm set on almost 200 acres, with 500m of river frontage, a large natural lagoon and rolling hills. Kangaroos graze widely on the property, particularly at sunrise and sunset and there is exceptional birdlife in the area. The homestead also features a large inground pool, hot tub and commercial size outdoor pizza oven and BBQ entertaining area. The gardens are spectacular and provide seasonal fruit and vegetables for the kitchen as well as habitat for the native birds. The Lagoon wing features 3 bedrooms which can be configured as either 1 king or 2 twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the third bedroom has a separate bathroom. The Homestead wing has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an ensuite bathroom. It also has 1 bedroom which can be configured with 2 twin beds or 1 king bed and a third bedroom with a full size bed which can sleep two children or 2 smaller adults. The second and third bedrooms in the Homestead wing share a separate bathroom. Fully catered breakfast, lunch and dinner available for approximately $100 per adult, per day.
