Please note that our dog lives in the home when we are there, but will stay with our cottage tenants during your stay. The home is not appropriate for anyone who is allergic to dogs. It is located in a wonderful, semi-rural neighborhood on a ridge in the wine country. There are over 300 wineries just minutes away, plus the Pacific Ocean with its spectacular beaches and scenic Rt. 1 drive toward Mendocino, you can be at the harbor in Bodega Bay in 20 minutes for fishing or a waterfront meal. In 45 minutes you can be at a kayak rental in Tomales Bay. It only takes 35 minutes to visit giant redwoods at Armstrong State Park or visit the Russian River with its canoe and tube rentals. We have hot air ballooning over the vineyards, the Charles M. Schultz Museum, the Redwood Empire Ice Arena, many interesting boutiques, antique shopping, world-class restaurants and day spas in the vicinity, AND San Francisco is only seventy five minutes away. Napa Valley is one hour east. All around this area are beautiful hiking trails, biking paths and coastal trails.
