Hotel Minella Clonmel is nestled between the Comeragh Mountains and the River Suir in Clonmel Co. Tipperary. The original Georgian house was built by the Malcomsoms in 1863, and the Minella was opened as a hotel by Mr & Mrs Jack Nallen in 1963. Situated on the River Suir, in beautiful tranquil surroundings, the hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the town centre. The Minella has seen much change over the years, including upto date technology, and the addition of the award winning leisure facilities at Club Minella. Minella offers a choice of 90 Classic and Contemporary bedrooms, including 4 superior suites with balconies, two of which have private outdoor hot tubs. You may decide on a workout in our spacious gymnasium or participate in one of our many aerobics or toning classes, or even just relax in our Canadian outdoor hot-tub overlooking the River Suir. Massage and a range of treatments are available by appointment. Club Minella, with its award winning 20 metre deck level swimming pool, a separate childrens pool area, turbo feature pool underwater loungers, bubble seats and geyser (volcano). Overlooking these excellent facilities is our Jacuzzi, Swedish Sauna, Turkish Steam Room, body power showers. The all weather tennis court, is situated next to Club Minella, and rackets can be provided.
