A newly built chalet in the Chamonix Valley of the French Alps with modern contemporary decor completed with luxury finishes and fittings. Open plan kitchen, dining and entertainment area leading onto a large balcony with a view facing the prevailing sun, to suit every occasion. The chalet is in the quaint town of Argentiere in the Chamonix Mont Blanc Valley. Argentiere is one of the highest points in the valley ensuring the best and most prolific snowfall. All convenience facilities are within walking distance. Equipped with top of the range equipment such as Bose surround sound system, state of the art enclosed fireplace, 65 inch Samsung TV, a Bosch washer, dryer and dishwashing machine. The kitchen presents a double SMEG gas hob and electric oven with wide range of cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and a range of stemware. A large oak wood dining room table which seats 10 completes this space for people who enjoy culinary arts and fine wine. The kitchen also has ample storage space with a double door fridge-freezer with ice and water dispenser, as well as a separate wine fridge. The first bedroom has one king bed, the second bedroom has a king bed and a baby crib, and the third bedroom has 2 full size beds. Wifi internet access, towels and linens are provided. The neighborhood is sought after because of the amount and duration of winter and summer sun exposure. Argentiere is well renowned for its local ski area named Grand Montet, regarded as one of the best ski areas in Europe. Whilst it is best known for its vast off-piste terrain, it also has very long piste runs from the highest point to the base of the lift. Without a doubt the best ski-to-lift ratio in the region. The Grand Montet lift is accessible by foot or flat ski from the house and is no longer than 750m away. There is also a part downhill route back to the house from the main piste. For slightly less technical skiers, the ski regions of Le Tour and Vallorcine are accessible by car or bus within 7 min. The Flegere ski lift is merely 10 min drive from Argentiere, which is connected to Brevent ski region (in Chamonix) gondola from the top of the mountain. Within a 25 min drive there are 7 major ski areas and the famed Cormayeur (in Italy) is 45 min away. The Argentiere town also has its own cross country track for classic and skating cross country enthusiasts. Argentiere has a variety of good restaurants and apres ski bars and is a fully equipped town. For those who seek more vibrant nightlife, Chamonix town is 20 min by train and 15 min by car. Argentiere is a small village but is very well connected to all the other villages via car, bus and train. The bus stop is 7 min walk from the house, and the train station is 10 min walk. Through either of these methods, guests can access all ski regions and all towns. The house is adjacent to the entrance to the mountain tracks and forest trails in summer and cross country trails in winter. The town information hall (5 min walk) will have maps for all the hiking trails, of which there are more than a person can even imagine.
